It can be quite difficult to keep thinking of new ideas and cool gifts for people at Christmas time, socks, perfume, aftershave, can get a bit boring every year. It can, however, be so much easier if a person has a hobby as for every hobby there are always loads of stuff you can get to enhance someone’s experience of that hobby. Now you might find cool gifts for festival goers, smart gifts for nerds, or sporty gifts for tennis players but I think we will take a look at what gifts you can get for someone who frequents festivals or even the first timer, who needs to prepare for their very first music festival. You’ll actually be surprised at just how many Funky gifts for your festival goer you can find from just a few pounds. If your festival goer likes to go to festivals in the UK such as Glastonbury or …. …. … like us then they will need, all sorts of equipment to just survive the weather and keep clean (if they can be bothered trying to do that) and then there are all the fun things that you can buy. Each year its a fight to get people not to leave behind their rubbish and especially their tents at festivals. Some festivals are managing to reduce this waste but not enough. Its suggested that 250,000 plastic tents are left behind at festivals in the UK alone. And these tents are almost impossible to recycle. One plastic tent left behind at a festival is worth 250 plastic cups or 8000 straws. So those awesome people who try all year round to not use so much plastic, be plastic free, or Eco friendly have ruined that with that one action. Cardboard Eco Tents for Festivals have been around for some time now at least 5 years maybe more but they haven’t caught on yet – Why is this? Would you sleep in a cardboard box? You might be thinking that its not going to work very well sleeping in a cardboard box, but of course these cardboard tents are not just any old cardboard box. For starters they are 100% recyclable and made for a very think cardboard which ward of rain for several days. Most tents are big enough to take two people, and even have a window and a printed […]
Many people don’t know that you can actually get free music festival tickets by volunteering to help out. There are a few charities where you can volunteer to give your time do your bit for humanity helping the charity out and in return, you gain entry to the festival for free and in most cases you don’t even need experience. As you may know, music festivals take a great deal of work to put together and a great deal of staff, and because its pretty hard to turn a profit with festivals organisers often call on volunteers to help out and you get free tickets, staff benefits or other discounts. It’s a fantastic way to become part of the music community, learn how festivals are put together, meet new people, learn new skills and get time off to watch your favorite bands or DJ’s live. Where can you get free music festival tickets by volunteering? Oxfam Oxfam always have a number of positions they are looking to cover Stewards Campaigners Festival shop volunteers Looks like they are finished with festivals for this year but you can register your interest for 2018 It’s good to apply now for next year, as […]
